This weeks quote by Tom Kelly, he explains the truth about the industry of creativity in that you need a basis of knowledge before you can advance in innovation. Skills that you may think not affect you overall goal or life are actually very significant. Like for example skills in Illustrator and Photoshop are important to know in order to create masterpieces in Cinema 4D (which is what I am going to do for my Five Week Plan). Autonomy is a part of AMP which is the basis for creativity and autonomy is very important in overall life.

Five-Week Plan-My Five Week Plan consists of beginning to learn and advance my abilities in Cinema 4D. I plan to create something of my own that will make not only me proud but also the Boss. I will use tutorials and the pilot program on the original Mac Lab site to learn new skills and techniques. These new skills and techniques will guide me in creating something of my own.

GameSTAR Rules-I will abide by the terms and conditions of the GameStar and follow all of the rules.

GM Challenge- I have completed Skocko’s level Eat Prey Love in roughly 8 mins.

GM Deathmatch- I started at 8:56am and beat Eat Prey Love flawlessly at 9:42am. Took me MANY tries but I finally did it. First time since I have been able to beat the Boss’ game in the 3 years I have been in the class. The hardest part too me was the box in Level 3.

GM Quests-I completed all Missions, including Bonus Missions in the GameSTAR Story mode.

This week’s quote by Creating Innovators describes the advancing workforce does not a person who is only good at one aspect but a master in multiple aspects of topics. This directly effects me in that I am going to enter college and soon display my skills to a possible firm and I need to set myself out from the “average Joe”.

This week I worked on past quests such as the resume and continued to work on my Mythology which I did not feel was good enough for submission. But I will continue to work on it. I also continued to update my blog which wasn’t updated since week 24/25.

The quote from the documentary The Power of Myth by Joseph Campbell to me represents the idea that we all look for past heros or heroine and in that case god’s for guidance through the world. I personally believe in God and am a Christian who t to live my live in the image of God. This guides me and how I should live my life.

This week I worked on my Logo for Mythology which I plan on presenting to Skocko. This is a work in progress like everything in the Mac Lab, because you are never done in the Mac Lab.

Mythology- In my second attempt for Mythology, I was inspired by Skocko presentation about a student who had the idea of “Sisyphus Gym”. This sparked me to think of the idea of “Hermes Shoes” which derived from the Greek mythological God hermes which is know for athletics and his famous winged sandals. My original logotype and logo was pitiful and has developed into “Hermes Running Company”. I was still not happy with the logo so I went back to the drawing board and created a more simplistic logo which I plan on creating digitally Thursday and then present it to Skocko on Friday before the deadline. I will continue to update.

This quote by James McQuivey explains how the advancement of technology is increasing tenfold thus changing our society in drastic ways. The Digital Disruptions will change our society both culturally and industrailly wheather our society is ready for it or not. This affects me in that I am a teenager in this society and I need to accept and adapt to this growing technological world.

This week I started to learn code which was a great joy for me. My father is a computer programmer  for the company Symitar and he writes code in using a program called PuTTY. This inspired me to start learning about code. I worked on the tutorials on www.codeacademy.com and progressed that week. My current “level”/”progression”.

The quote by Marilyn Ferguson to me represents that their is tons of information blatantly in front of you and we are not understanding or receiving it.

This week I worked on my resume and i was enlightened on how inexperienced I am and what little qualities that would apply to getting a job. But I understand why because I have put all of my effort into trying to get into a college. I have also learned how I have not took a full advantage in AMP but I plan on in the future.

Resume- This is the traditional resume, which took an extended amount of time because of how little experience I have in the workforce and leadership. I will soon begin working on the graphic resume which should be enjoyful in that I can embark myself into my creative mind.

The quote by Jane McGonigal states that eery good game revoles around a voluntary obstacle which can translate in to real life in that doing the bare minimum or “flatlining” gets you no where but by not taking shortcuts you live life to the fullest.

This week I worked on the alphabet quest and completed my March calendar. I have also tried to level up by mastering old quests in weeks such as 1,2 and 3.

If we were to post this quote by Neal Stephenson  around the school it would stir up quite the controversy because not everyone one in the learning department agrees with this, the quote also sums up how the standards of learning should be changed.This quote is important to me because it sums up how to bring up a generation through creativity and the ability to express yourself. Now a days we are taught to be restricted from our potential in order to follow the Besmear system of learning.

Bridge 101: Since I used Bridge back in Freshman Year and Sophomore Year, I have already seen all 4 of the videos so I was not overwhelmed by any sort on how to use Bridge and I plan on using it for my whole time in Mac Lab.

Homer’s quote from The Iliad is located in the begging of the book because Homer is asking for enlightenment from the Muses who are a higher power that inspires everyone. This relates to me because in order to create artwork you need to be inspired.

Dan Simmons’ quotes says that no one in the world can describe the feeling when you are inspried and create something create. This relates to me by showing that inspiration is essential to success
