Week 31/32

Gamestar Mechanic Rules: I understand that I must read all the rules before beginning, quest in the order I am told to, and not to skip ahead.

GM Quests: I completed every quest and every challenge except for the last one, I have tried over 20 times and am still unable to beat it. I feel that it is impossible and have no idea how to finish it.

Came back and finished the last bonus quest I needed to finish so I am now 100%.

Here is my game I created.

GM Challenge: I beat the game in about 15 minutes, and replayed it a couple times. The fastest I could get the last level done was about 2-3 minutes. The last part with the square was very difficult but easy once I had it down. It was 8:12 when I started and finished my first run at 8:29.GMCompletion200

Week 16-18 SWYK (1213)

Ground Rules: I will make my posts clear, and easy to find. They will be in-depth and well made. I will expand on what I have written after mastering quests. My responses will be clear and graded by the rubric, which I have gone back and reread.
Looking Back: My time in the Mac Lab over the past 2 years has been spent 2 different ways. My first year I was still learning but not giving the class a lot of effort until towards the end. I had to find what I really enjoyed doing which was Cinema 4D. This year I did the same, not giving much effort, but I found a passion for something early. Over the past few months I have spent my time trying to gain more knowledge on Photoshop. I want to be a better student and take advantage of all of the opportunities I have in the Mac Lab, and I regret not doing so earlier this year.
Looking Forward: As I said in the previous post, I want to dive deeper into Photoshop. I also want to do some work in C4D and see if I remember what I used to know about the great program. For all of my schooling I need to start working harder and being the best I can be in all of my classes.
Asynchronous Learning: In an Asynchronous class I feel the student is both the teacher and the learner. The student is required to teach himself lessons given and apply those to schooling. I only feel the weaknesses of this system apply when a student isn’t willing to teach him/herself, or doesn’t have the equipment needed for it. Other than that the way of learning is great, and defiantly the best class I have had.
TAG: Currently I have no problem with TAG. I feel everything is going smoothly and not many things need changing. Like I mentioned in my last post Asynchronous Learning, the only time someone will have a problem is when the don’t have the initiative or aren’t willing to learn. When I first started this class last year I struggled, because I wasn’t willing to learn. Soon after I found out that it is a great class with a lot to offer and definitely worth trying to learn everything you can while in this class.
AMP: AMP, what a journey. In the last 2 years I have been given the opportunity to experience AMP, and I have learned so much. AMP, Autonomy Mastery and Purpose is a great way of learning. Without AMP I feel that the students wouldn’t have the same drive as they do currently to succeed and do better work. AMP was a rough start for me and probably for most other students, but as I progressed through the program I started to really enjoy many things I was learning. My favorite thing is probably still C4D, because I feel that I have a deep understanding of the program.
