| step 1: Double-Click on the button to edit it. Click on the Add Layer icon and give the new layer a name. (Figure A) | ||||

| step 3: We'll use sounds that ship with Flash in this step. To access them navigate to Window > Common Libraries > Sounds.fla and test them as shown in the movie below. (Figure C) Click on the keyframe in the Over state and drag a sound onto the stage. Repeat for the Down state. Click on Scene 1 to return to the main timeline (not shown). | ||||
