| step 1: File > Import a bitmap image from the 480 x 240 folder. Since we only want the one image choose No in the dialog box. (Figure A) | ||||

| step 3: Window > Info (Command-I) to verify it is positioned correctly at 0, 0. (Figure C) | ||||

| step 4: Modify > Trace Bitmap and the following dialog box opens. (Figure D) The settings show are the defaults. If yours differ, change the settings to match and click OK. | ||||

| step 6: Command-Z to undo and call up the Modify > Trace Bitmap dialog box once again. Lower the settings to those shown to pull out more detail and color. (Figure F) | ||||
