step 1:Insert
> New Symbol. Set the Behavior to Movie Clip and name it.(Figure

step 2:You will find yourself
in Symbol Edit mode, inside Scene 1. Select the Type Tool (T). (Figure

step 3:Make your settings
as shown. Be sure the mode is Static Text, not Dynamic or Imput. (Figure

step 4:Click on the stage,
type capital I five times, select the Arrow Tool, and center the text. (Figure

step 5:Select all the text
and Modify > Break Apart. Click away to deselect, click on the first
letter, Convert to Symbol (F8), set the Behavior to Graphic, and name
it. (Figure
E)Repeat for each of the other characters.
note:Since you already
have a symbol 1, 2, 3, etc. you will need to name each symbol something
different like mc1, mc2, mc3, etc.

step 6:Verify that you're
on track by opening your library. You should have five graphic symbols
and one movie clip (in addition to your slideshow symbols). We are still
in Symbol Edit mode (inside the preloader movie clip). (Figure

step 7:Select all, Modify
> Distribute to Layers, expand the Timeline, trash Layer 1 (now empty),
and reorder the remaining five layers. (Figure

step 8:Insert > Keyframes
(F6) and Motion Tweens as shown. (Figure

step 9:Select each instance
individually, Window > Transform (Command-T), set to 200%, and hit Return.
Make sure Constrain is checked. (Figure

step 10:Select the center
keyframes, set the Ease to -100, and the Alpha to 20. (Figure

step 11:Select the first
keyframes and set the Ease to 100. (Figure

step 12:Select and move
frames as shown then select and Insert > Frames (F5) as shown. (Figure

step 13:Return to Scene
1, Window > Library (Command-L), and drag an instance of the preloader
movie clip onto the stage. (Figure

step 14:Command-Option-Return
to Test Scene (Control > Test Scene). If necessary, reposition the instance
so the preloader plays in the center of the stage. (Figure
