Dreamweaver MX Adding Text

This is pretty straight forward but there are a few pitfalls to avoid

Double-click on your Homepage in the Site Window

Notice that the insertion point is flashing along the left edge of your table

It's actually outside of your table and we've got to fix that before continuing

Move your cursor inside the table and click

That was easy to fix

Type Title and hit the return key twice

Type Text and hit the return key twice

The last line will soon become links

For now, type the name of each page followed by a space (always put a space after a link)

The vertical separator is located just above the return key (you must hold down Shift when you hit the key)

Type the links exactly as shown and do not apply any formatting

No formatting means to leave the settings in the Properties Panel as they are

Select all the text (including the space after 03) and copy it (Command-C)

Don't worry that your Homepage looks boring—you'll get a chance to change it soon enough
