Dreamweaver MX Putting the Shortcut Page to Work

We are going to use this page to generate the rest of our required pages

(If your shortcut page isn't open, double-click on 00.html in your Site Window)

This page must be saved at this point—Command-S to save

Shift-Command-S to Save As...

Type about_this_site

I'm missing the screenshot that should've gone here

The file won't be there (see cursor below) until the next time you Shift-Command-S

But you see that your file should be saved as about_this_site.html

Okay, your file is now the aforementioned about_this_site.html (see title bar below)

Shift-Command-S and you should see this dialog box (with about_this_site highlighted)

Type about_me and Save

Shift-Command-S and... (are you getting the idea?)

Shift-Command-S and...

Shift-Command-S and...

Shift-Command-S and...

Shift-Command-S and...

Shift-Command-S and...

Shift-Command-S and...

F8 and your Site Window reveals all your pages

Make sure they all end in .html, have no capital letters, or spaces

But your Website is useless without links

Let's do something about that
