Room to Work

1. With fruit.jpg open, navigate to Image > Canvas Size...
   
      (We need some extra room)
   
   
2. The Canvas Size dialog box opens:
   
      (Here's where we get it)
   
   
3. Change the Height to 500 pixels and click OK
   
   
4. Select the Magic Wand in the toolbar (or press W)
   
   

   	(The only thing "magic" about this tool is its name)

   
   
5. Change the Options Bar settings as shown below:
   
   
   
   
6. Now the Tragic Wand is actually useful (for selecting the white pixels):
   
   
   CLICK ARROW TO PLAY MOVIE
