Creating the Scan Lines

1. Launch Photoshop and open a new document (Command-N)
   
   
2. In the New Document dialog box enter the following information:
   
   
   
   
3. Click OK (or hit Return) and this tiny document opens:
   
   
   
   
4. Enlarge the image by clicking Command-0 (zero) and you will see:
   
   
   
   
5. Reset the default colors by hitting the D key and color the top 2 pixels black with the pencil:
   
   
   CLICK ARROW TO PLAY MOVIE
   
   
6. As you see in the movie, you have just created the necessary image:
   
   
   
   
7. Save your file as scan_lines.psd
