Any student found to be copying the work of others, giving answers to others, turning in work of others, or otherwise cheating on school assignments will receive a zero on the work with no makeup permitted. In addition, the student will be assigned a Saturday School. This offense may also carry further penalty depending on the nature of the cheating. A second offense of academic dishonesty in the same class during the same semester will result in removal from class with a loss of credit.
— Academic Dishonesty / Valhalla High School Student Handbook

.

Any student who clicks through to the next stage in any quest without reading all the words, watching every embedded video, and/or following the instructions, would be guilty of intentionally cheating on a school assignment within the context of our self-paced, student-centered learning environment.

Do you understand, Visitor?

Think about that in terms of how you've engaged with prior quests.

Think about that in terms of the date and time stamps in your Stats Panel. (I'll explain in a Stage 2 video.)

The date and time stamps in our WordPress database provide incontrovertible evidence of widespread cheating on multiple assignments.

If you are among those who have cheated—despite my constant warnings—I will give you one chance to right this wrong with minimal consequences.

If you have cheated and you do not take this one chance to right the wrong, I will be forced to document the Academic Dishonesty and report it to administration and your family.

Do you understand, Visitor?

Once you have read all the words in this stage and have considered the adverse consequences of cheating, please click through to Stage 2.

.

.

Please watch these videos—at normal speed whatever speed suits your learning style, giving them your full attention—and follow the instructions.

.

.

Follow the instructions in the videos. Check your Stats Panel for evidence of cheating (though you should already know the answer if you cheated). Review old quests for information you may have forgotten (or never actually encountered because you cut corners).

Proceed to Stage 3 after you've completed the steps.

That was not fun for me either, Visitor, that is until I added the 4th video a few minutes ago. That was fun!

Now for the serious business...

Do not click through to Stage 4 unless you are absolutely certain that you've not cut corners or cheated.

Clicking through to Stage 4 means that you have read all the words, watched all the videos, and followed all the instructions to the best of your ability in every quest up to this point and you agree to continue the practice through the end of the year.

Academic dishonesty is a serious offense.

Thank you, Visitor, for your integrity.
